Eric Paul Shaffer will meet with high-school students and community members in a festival celebrating teen reading entitled "Maui Literary Circles." The authors will be among several featured local writers of poetry, fiction, and non-fiction. the Maui Literary Circles. This year the guest writers include: Stuart Coleman, author of Eddie Would Go; Jeanne Wakatsuki Houston, author of Farewell to Manzanar and The Legend of Fire Horse Woman; George Kahumoku, author of A Hawaiian Life; Wayne Moniz, author of Under The Star of Gladness; and Eric Paul Shaffer, author of Living in the Monastery, Working in the Kitchen and Lahaina Noon; and Paul Wood, author of False Confessions.
